Meet Sav, Founder of Savvy Fish

"I didn’t wake up one day and decide to start a business. My path has been a collection of roles that taught me how people think, what they need, and how to communicate clearly, creatively, and authentically."

My story starts long before being a creative professional ever crossed my mind. Fish became my family nickname after a summer lake trip in Colorado — the same trip where I spent more time underwater than above it.

The name stuck, not just because of how much I loved the water, but because I was always diving headfirst into whatever captured my curiosity.

Looking back, that moment feels like the beginning of who I started to become: someone led by curiosity, connection, and a genuine love for learning.

All these years later, that same spirit still anchors everything I do.

Teaching showed me how to break down big ideas and connect one-on-one.

Marketing taught me how to elevate brands, craft messages that matter, and create systems that keep growth sustainable.

Educational spaces gave me an understanding of families, students, and service-based businesses and how much heart is behind them.

Working in restaurants reminded me daily how important genuine connection is, no matter the industry.

Each chapter has been quietly preparing me to build something of my own.

Savvy Fish & Co. is the place where all my experience finally clicks into one cohesive purpose: Helping small businesses and mission-driven brands tell their story, find their voice, and build systems that actually work.

This work is personal to me.

It’s my story, my decade of experience, and my belief that great marketing starts with knowing who you are and where you’ve been so you can get to where you want to go.

Here’s to meaningful work, intentional growth, and the stories we create along the way.

Savannah,

Founder of Savvy Fish
